  1. Historic Halifax - A must see for tourists and residents alike is the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. It’s the oldest and largest maritime museum in Canada. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic has a collection of over 30,000 artifacts, including the world’s main collection of wooden artifacts from RMS Titanic. It features a permanent exhibit of the Titanic highlighting Nova Scotia’s connection to recovering bodies of the Titanic victims. Some victims of the “unsinkable ship” were buried in three of Halifax’s cemeteries, including Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Visitors are able to see the final resting place of some of the victims of the Titanic who are buried alongside Halifax residents from the turn of the century.

This course has played host to some of the most prestigious tournaments held on this side of Canada. The beautiful course is close to the city and perfect for novice or seasoned golfers.
  3. The Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market - Founded in 1750, this is the oldest continuously operating farmer’s market in North America. The Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market hosts over 250 vendors. Eat, check out local arts and crafts and buy it all from locally grown organic fruits and veggies, flowers and jewelry to crepes, desserts, meats, and pastries. You’ll also be able to people watch and enjoy great views of George’s Island.
  4. Sensational Seafood - Halifax has amazing food. Its close proximity to the Atlantic makes this city known for its sensational seafood.
