Open House Sales Associate

As an Open House Associate, you will be the smiling person who greets each visitor that enters the model suite at our North End Halifax condominium, Mont Blanc Residences. 

You are professional, friendly, and possess stellar communication skills, which include top-notch listening skills. 

Enthusiastic with strong customer service values, you thrive on engagement with the public and have the ability to connect well with people. You take pride in promoting an excellent product. And you understand the impact the front line has on the bottom line. 

Your role will be to answer questions about the condos and share pertinent information, which will help each potential purchaser make an informed decision about Mont Blanc as their next home. Your primary goal is to obtain contact information from prospective buyers and provide that to the Sales Manager for follow-up. To do so, you will complete a report with the necessary information. 

This is a permanent part-time position requiring availability on Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons. While we are planning to hire more than one associate, only one person will work at a time, so you must be comfortable being on your own and have the skillset to manage effectively when multiple people stop by. 

Ensuring the preparation and tidiness of the model suite, placing exterior signs to promote the open house, and identifying marketing supplies needed for the following week’s open house, are also part of this role. 

If you have previous sales experience or knowledge of real estate, that is an asset; however, it’s not mandatory. The ability to speak a second language is also an asset. Remuneration will be a combination of an hourly rate plus an incentive.
